The Opportunity
This position offers the chance to develop advanced trading systems for cryptocurrencies within the fast-paced digital asset landscape. Collaborate with traders and skilled developers to enhance and expand core systems primarily written in Python and C++. You will tackle interesting technical challenges as these systems process millions of transactions across various centralized and decentralized platforms worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Enhance: Develop trading system infrastructure using Python and C++.
- Collaborate: Work closely with traders and stakeholders to identify challenges in Cefi and Defi environments and design effective solutions.
- Deploy: Implement trading system components into production environments.
- Troubleshoot: Address system issues promptly as they arise.
- Identify Improvements: Seek and implement opportunities for system enhancements.
- Engage: Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and team brainstorming sessions.
Who You Are
- Quant Developer: A software engineer with 5+ years of experience in developing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, specifically as a quant developer.
- HFT Experience: Must have experience working with traders on high-frequency trading strategies, whether in crypto or other financial markets.
- Strong Programmer: Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Balanced Approach: Capable of delivering reliable code while rapidly deploying new features.
- Dependable: Takes pride in delivering robust software and is willing to be on-call for support.
- Articulate: Able to clearly communicate software concepts and designs.
- Educated: Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with excellent results.
- Finance Enthusiast: A keen interest in finance and cryptocurrencies, with a knack for solving complex challenges (desirable).
