We are working with a top-tier US law firm that is looking to hire a junior to mid-level Secondaries Associate to join its growing team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a developing area of law in Asia, which is already well established across other major markets.
The role would suit either a 4–6 years’ PQE M&A lawyer who is interested in transitioning into secondaries work, or a 3 years’ PQE PE Funds lawyer with existing exposure to secondaries transactions. The team is open to considering candidates from strong corporate or funds backgrounds, provided they have top-tier training and a clear interest in the space.
The successful candidate will work on sophisticated secondaries transactions alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, with strong training, partner access, and exposure to high-quality cross-border matters.
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and training from a leading international or top-tier local law firm. Chinese language capabilities are preferred for this role.
