Our client is a rapidly growing, privately funded AI-driven EdTech startup that is expanding aggressively across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

They are looking to bring on a Full Stack / Software Engineer to join a highly agile, high-caliber engineering team. You will work side-by-side with the CTO to build and scale user-facing web and mobile products, as well as backend services powering AI personalization and gamified learning features.

The Role & Impact

As a core engineer in a lean team, you will Full-Stack Execution: Build, ship, and maintain features across web (React, Node.js/TypeScript) and mobile platforms (React Native).

• Deep Specialization: While working full-stack, you will own and elevate standards in your primary domain of expertise (Backend, Frontend, or SRE/Infrastructure).
• AI Integration: Leverage cutting-edge AI architectures and models (OpenAI, Chinese LLMs, OpenRouter) to build personalized, responsive learning tools.
• Product Engineering Mindset: Work directly with design and product leads to build features driven by real-world user feedback, moving fast with high user empathy.

What We Are Looking For

• Core Tech Stack: Professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and React Native.
• Domain Strength: Deep hands-on expertise in at least one core pillar: Backend Architecture, Frontend/Mobile Performance, or SRE/DevOps.
• Ownership & Mindset: Comfort working in a lean startup environment where agility, rapid iteration, and autonomous problem-solving are paramount.
• Quality Focus: Passion for TDD/BDD, automated testing, and writing maintainable, production-ready code.
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on industry experience).

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-ownership engineering organization built on end-to-end product accountability and modern DevOps practices. Working directly alongside a hands-on CTO within a flat, collaborative structure, you will benefit from close access to leadership, rapid deployment cycles, and a strong culture of daily production releases.
