Ashford Benjamin are instructed on a rare opportunity for an Employment Lawyer to join a highly respected global hedge fund.
Following continued business growth across the region, our client is looking to further strengthen its legal presence in Asia with the appointment of an Employment Lawyer based in Hong Kong.
The successful candidate will join a global legal team and take a lead role in advising the business across Asia on a broad range of employment matters. This will include drafting Portfolio Manager deal terms, compensation arrangements and termination documentation, as well as advising on internal investigations and contentious employment matters.
Prior experience within a hedge fund is preferred, although lawyers from other international financial institutions or leading employment practices at top-tier law firms will also be considered.
Our client is open in terms of seniority, although 5+PQE is a minimum. They are particularly interested in lawyers who are comfortable working autonomously, managing their own caseload and operating with a high degree of independence.
