Our client is a top-tier high-frequency trading firm that has seen exceptional business growth, establishing itself as a leader in the industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to play a key role in ensuring the firm adheres to financial regulations across Asia while navigating complex, dynamic markets based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.
This hire will provide essential legal support to the firm’s trading activities across Asia. This highly visible role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, advising on a wide range of regulatory matters and projects impacting the firm’s trading strategies, operations, and expansion. You will support the business by providing clear, commercial legal advice to ensure compliance with financial regulations and market rules.
Key Requirements
• Sales & Trading experience (ideally Equity Derivatives or Prime Brokerage)
• Significant knowledge of the Asia regulatory landscape
• Ideally coming from another high frequency trading firm, hedge fund or international banks sales and trading legal team
• 5-15 years PQE, strong academics and having trained at a top tier law firm
• Experience operating as a lawyer in a fast-paced, fluid environment and comfortable in a hands-on role
