Ashford Benjamin is partnering with a leading asset manager to appoint a senior Credit Risk specialist covering real estate finance and special situations desk across Asia in their Hong Kong team.
In this position, you will serve as a key Risk member on the Investment Committee, evaluating credit feasibility, challenging deal structures, and providing independent underwriting decisions on complex transactions. Beyond new deal approvals, you will oversee portfolio surveillance, lead stress testing, manage distressed debt workouts and restructurings, and maintain robust credit risk governance across regional portfolios.
To qualify, candidates should bring at least 12 years of specialized credit risk experience in real estate finance and construction lending across APAC. Demonstrated committee-level approval authority, hands-on experience navigating full credit cycles and recoveries, and strong commercial acumen are essential.
