A highly regarded corporate practice is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing Private Equity & M&A team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to work on sophisticated cross-border transactions, advising a diverse client base that includes private equity sponsors, strategic investors, multinational corporates, founders, and family offices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading transactions, managing client relationships, and working closely with partners on a broad range of domestic and international matters across Asia.
The Role
- Advise on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions.
- Support clients on cross-border investments, financings, restructurings, and general corporate matters.
- Take an active role in transaction management, drafting and negotiations, client development, and mentoring junior lawyers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable corporate practice.
- Strong experience in private equity, M&A, cross-border transactions, and corporate advisory work.
- Qualified in Hong Kong or the PRC.
- Commercially minded with strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
