A highly successful and fast-growing crypto trading firm is looking for a Senior Backend Golang Engineer to develop the services connecting its trading and research workflows. You will make key design decisions, tackle performance bottlenecks, and take responsibility for systems running in production. The role suits an engineer who enjoys distributed systems, works closely with business users, and combines hands-on delivery with mentoring and technical leadership. AI-assisted development is part of the role, with engineers retaining responsibility for the quality of what they ship.
Ideal Candidate:
• 5+ years building backend software, with experience supporting demanding production environments
• Experienced using Go professionally, or substantial backend expertise combined with agentic development experience
• Strong grasp of concurrency, memory usage, and application performance
• Track record of designing distributed services and guiding other engineers
• Comfortable with event-driven systems, messaging platforms, and network APIs
• Experience deploying containerized services in cloud environments
• Willing to own production support and on-call responsibilities; trading or crypto experience is a plus.
