Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the AWS environment, with a focus on architecting, implementing, and scaling core services (EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM) from scratch.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure systems are reproducible, version-controlled, and resilient.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Shell, or Python to streamline operations and enhance reliability.
• Collaborate directly with the trading and research teams to understand their needs and build infrastructure that provides a competitive edge.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, security, and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard assets and ensure 24/7 operational integrity.
Must-Have Technical Experience:
• Proven experience in setting up and scaling AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM) from scratch.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.
