I am working with partners from a leading US law firm, that are looking for a 5-8PQE lawyer to join their team in Hong Kong.
The team works with top-tier PE platforms and portfolio companies on a variety of M&A and PE matters which include Buyouts, Growth Equity & Minority Investments, Carveouts, and complex cross-border transactions.
Their clients include some of the largest PE Funds and other large financial institutions. A lot of the work they’re currently undertaking is pan-Asian with deals in Japan, India, South Korea, and other Southeast Asian jurisdictions.
The team is quite collegiate, both partners are very down-to-earth and easygoing. The firm is currently in expansion mode and is looking to solidify it’s PE practice in the APAC region. They are very committed to Asia, and are looking for strong lawyers to help with this expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with PE led, M&A transactions, from a top-tier law firm. Any experience in building client relationships, or being the lead lawyer on a top-tier PE firms deals is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
Chinese language capabilities, although desirable, is not required for this opportunity.
