Ashford Benjamin is partnering with a top tier trading platform that is looking to hire a Control Room Specialist in Hong Kong.
In this role, you will be responsible for control room and regulatory reporting for APAC region, coordinating and controlling wall-crossing events involving deal-related MNPI, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with global teams on control room framework. You will oversee global short sale bans and restricted list compliance, assist in developing and tuning control room surveillance triggers to detect potential breaches, and review trade and communication data. Additionally, you will handle large datasets across internal and external feeds, utilizing tools like Python, SQL, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data analysis and reporting.
Candidates should have strong experience in Compliance, specifically within a Control Room function. Proficiency in handling large datasets and data tools such as Python and SQL is essential, alongside a strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks, short sale bans, and information barriers.
