We are instructed on an opportunity with an international bank who are looking to hire a mid-level lawyer for the legal team in Hong Kong. This role sits within the Global Markets business advising the structuring and sales teams on the distribution of Structured Products, Derivatives and Fund linked work. This role offers exposure to a range of intellectually challenging work from an advisory perspective and is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer to transition In-House and upskill in an in-demand area.
Candidates can be coming from a (1) non-contentious regulatory background, ideally with an understanding of financial products or retail funds OR (2) have experience advising on structured products / derivatives.
Candidates should have experience in at least one of the above areas mentioned and be coming from an international law firm or financial institution around 4-8 years PQE. Chinese language skills are essential.
