Role Overview
We are seeking multiple C# Developers (5 headcounts) to join the Core Trading Technology team in Sydney. This team of 10 is responsible for building trading analysis tools, market and static data feeds, trade monitoring tools, and web scraping data to help traders make better decisions.
Open to candidates from tech or finance backgrounds, provided C# skills are strong.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full Lifecycle Development: Take projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
• Trading Tooling: Build and maintain trading analysis tools, market data feeds, trade monitoring, and web scraping applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and technology teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement of team capabilities and applications through technology and automation.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Experience: 4–11 years of C# development experience.
• Server-Side: Strong experience in server-side systems (ideally with multi-threading).
• Client-Side: Experience with client-side development; WPF experience is an advantage.
• Web Technologies: Understanding of HTML and JavaScript; ReactJS and TypeScript experience is a plus.
• Linux: Experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux is an advantage.
• Real-Time: Experience with real-time applications (especially Tibco RV) is advantageous.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quants, and developers.
• Agile: Understanding of full SDLC, ideally in an Agile environment.
• Mentorship: Collaboration and mentoring skills to help junior team members grow.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline.
