We are instructed on a newly created hire with an international hedge fund who are expanding their legal team in Hong Kong.
This hire will join a small team of lawyers and will be the main legal point of contact for a business line that expanding it’s trading operations in the PRC market.
This role will have transactional, regulatory and general commercial elements to it and will be advising on derivatives trading as well as providing project based advice as the firm look to create various new business lines in China.
Candidates must comfortable providing sound commercial advice within a rapidly evolving market, demonstrating the ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment.
Requirements
– 4 to 8 years PQE (in a non-contentious regulatory or derivatives role)
– Experience advising on PRC regulations or derivatives trading
– Business level Mandarin skills are essential
