This opportunity is well suited to a technically minded candidate looking to build a career in Global Markets technology while gaining exposure to trading platforms, SQL, data engineering, and AI-enabled transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line support for trading, risk, and market-data applications.
  • Investigate production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with internal technology teams and vendors.
  • Monitor systems and support daily operational processes, including trade processing, market-data checks, batch monitoring, and reconciliations.
  • Support data validation, reporting, data-quality checks, and automated data-processing activities.
  • Assist with the testing, deployment, and adoption of automation, data, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system stability, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain clear support documentation and communicate effectively with business users during incidents.
  • Participate in project delivery, testing, change-management, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting production applications, investigating incidents, or troubleshooting business-critical systems.
  • SQL experience for data investigation, validation, and business-process support.
  • Understanding of databases, data processing, system integrations, and production environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets, trading environments, or financial-services technology.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and change-management processes.
  • Interest in automation, data analytics, AI, or modern workplace tools such as Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting trading, risk, settlement, market-data, or other financial applications.
  • Familiarity with Murex, Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar financial-market platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Azure, cloud platforms, or data technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, reconciliation, or data-quality tools.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is required
